Washburn Model 5318 "Deluxe" Model Soprano Ukulele, c. 1925, made in Chicago, natural lacquer finish, koa body, mahogany neck, original black hard shell case.

A beautiful fancy tropical wood ukulele from Lyon & Healy with a striking grain pattern on the body. It features an ivoroid bound body with Washburn's patented "smile" bridge with bone saddle and celluloid pins. There is bone nut and pearl dot inlay in the rosewood fingerboard; celluloid kite inlay in headstock. This was a fairly expensive instrument when new and comes housed in its original high-grade hard case.

Extremely fine overall; very slight play/handling wear. Case has some small areas of damage to the top edge. Excellent + Condition.
