Washburn Deluxe Model #5234 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, c. 1932, made in Chicago, natural lacquer finish, Brazillian rosewood back and sides, spruce top, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case.
A truly great-sounding and playing guitar, this early Tonk Brothers Washburn is a fine example of the very best Chicago-made guitars of the era.
Overall length is 39 3/4 in. (101 cm.), 15 3/8 in. (39 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 in. (10.2 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/4 in. (641 mm.). Width of nut is 1 7/8 in. (48 mm.).
Some noticeable topwear, light general wear overall, and a very well-done repro bridge. Plays and sounds extremely well. Excellent Condition.
