Item #6024

Vox Bulldog Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1966), made in Recanti, Italy, sunburst polyester finish, mahogany body, laminated maple neck with ebony fingerboard, handmade hard shell case.

Overall length is 40 1/2 in. (102.9 cm.), 14 1/8 in. (35.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/4 in. (3.2 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). Very clean, all original condition-some very minor finish checking and hardly any wear. The pickguard has shrunk up a bit (less than most!) but has no cracks, and the mute foam has congealed into a hard mass. A really fine example of this more unusual '60's Vox, a very good playing and sounding garage band classic! Includes a fairly amazing home-made case covered in aqua Naugahide with a matching cordoury lining. Overall Excellent + Condition.
