Vega Style No. 35 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, c. 1920's, made in Boston, Mass., natural finish, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case.

This beautiful Vega is easily one of the finest examples we have ever seen of that company's guitar output. The Style 35 is a full grand concert Brazilian rosewood flattop, made of extremely high-grade woods to the company's usual high standards. While a relatively plain guitar by earlier Vega standards this was the company's most expensive cataloged flat-top in the late 1920's and retailed at the not inconsiderable price of $75.00.

Overall length is 38 7/8 in. (98.7 cm.), 14 3/4 in. (37.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/2 in. (11.4 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). Amazingly well preserved, appears all original except for a neatly replaced bridge with very little wear at all. A truly fantastic specimen of a high-grade 1920's flattop Vega. Excellent + Condition.
