Item #6193

Vega Arthur Godfrey Standard Model Baritone Ukulele (1950's), made in Boston, Mass., serial # 56793, natural mahogany finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, original chipboard case.

Overall length is 29 in. (73.7 cm.), 10 in. (25.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1/8 in. (7.9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 19 in. (483 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/8 in. (35 mm.). Some general wear, mostly to the edges of the back and headstock, but overall solid and a good player. Some moisture spots on the finish on the treble side and the edge seam with the back appears resealed. A nice sounding one with a warmer tone than many. Includes a somewhat battered-looking but still functional chip case. Overall Excellent - Condition.
