T.C. Electronic Stereo Chorus + Pitch Modulator & Flanger Model Chorus Effect, c. 1990, serial # 31681. TC Electronic was founded by brothers and musicians Kim and John Rishoj in Denmark in the early 1970's. The Stereo Chorus + Pitch Modulator and Flanger, or more recognizably monikered SCF, was among the first major successes of the company. The pedal has been used and loved since its inception in 1976, with this example being a later reissue of the same circuit.
The pedal offers an impressively lush and versatile chorus, with an input, an expression bypass, and your option of mono or stereo output. Toggle between chorus, flanger, or pitch modulation with a three-way switch and dial in the waveform of the effect with the same three knobs for speed, width, and depth. A major pride of this pedal, besides offering severl popular sounds in one modestly sized enclosure, is its low noise level and overall great fidelity.
The pedal is overall in good working shape, complete with the original two-prong power cable wired in.There's some general cosmetic wear here and there from years of service on the floor. The original knobs, stomp, and serial number are all in tact. It does not come with its original box. Very Good + Condition.
