Item #5296
Stradolin Junior Model Arch Top Mandolin (1940's), made in New York City, green sunburst finish, birch body, poplar neck with rosewood fingerboard.
Overall length is 25 in. (63.5 cm.), 9 7/8 in. (25.1 cm.) wide, and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). A lot of general wear overall with lots of finish chips and dings but all original and in very good structural shape. An unassuming but good playing old mandolin with a surprizingly rich sound, typical of these old "Strads". Overall Very Good + Condition.
