Stradolin Arch Top Mandolin, c. 1939, made in New York City, sunburst lacquer finish, maple back and sides, solid spruce top; poplar neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black chipboard case.
Overall length is 25 1/2 in. (64.8 cm.), 9 15/16 in. (25.2 cm.) wide, and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 13 3/4 in. (349 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). Extremely fine original condition overall; just some very small scratches and dings to the finish with no repairs or alterations. All original finish and hardware in excellent playing condition, simply an exceptionally fine example of a pre-WWII Stradolin. Then as now, an serious bargain in a player's mandolin for the price, complete with the original chipboard case. Excellent + Condition.
