S. S. Stewart 5 String Banjo, c. 1888, made in Philadelphia, PA, natural varnish finish, spunover rim, cherrywood neck, ebony fingerboard.
 
Overall length is 36 in. (91.4 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 2 1/2 in. (6.4 cm.) deep. Scale length is 27 in. (686 mm.). Very Good + Condition.
