Item #4033
Regal Octofone, c. 1938, made in Chicago, sunburst lacquer finish, birch back and sides; spruce top, original black soft shell case.
Overall length is 33 1/4 in. (84.5 cm.), 10 7/16 in. (26.5 cm.) width, and 3 1/4 in. (8.3 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 19 3/4 in. (502 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/8 in. (35 mm.).
Very nice clean condition overall; appears little used except for a long gouge into the wood on the back of the neck on each side, perhaps the result of a homemade capo. A good player, and a rare late example of the Octophone. Overall Excellent Condition.
