Regal Dobro Model 45 Model Resophonic Guitar, c. 1936, made in Chicago, natural top, sunburst back and sides finish, spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck, black tolex soft shell case.
Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 14 in. (35.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.).
Very clean overall. Set up for Spanish-style play. One repaired lamination crack along the lower side; some dings in the treble side by the neck likely caused by over-enthusiastic bottleneck slide playing! All original, except 1950's Waverly strip tuners instead of originals. Very good sound! Excellent Condition.
