Recording King RK-R50 Model 5 String Resonator Banjo, c. 2006, made in China, dark mahogany finish, laminated mahogany resonator, maple rim, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black rigid foam case.
A well-made modern 1930s flathead Mastertone style banjo. "Fan"-shaped pearl inlay on fingerboard and headstock.
Overall length is 37 1/2 in. (95.2 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 26 1/8 in. (664 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.).
Slight wear to nickel plating and head; otherwise appears almost unused. Near Mint Condition.
