Here is R2R Electric's faithful approach to a Clyde McCoy wah in line with their company approach to pedal building: point-to-point high fidelity electronics using vintage NOS components or even recycled vintage components whenever and wherever possible. Unlike the coveted Vox wah it is modeled after, their system is comprised of two pedals: the expression pedal itself and an additional head unit to control the filter parameters of the wah. Both halves are build with NOS 1970's Centralab CTS pots among other vintage parts sourced by availability; while the equality and tone are consistent, the components inside can vary. Sounds at its very best followed by a silicone transistor Fuzz Face style fuzz!
Length is 7 in. (17.8 cm.), 5 1/2 in. (14 cm.) width, and 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) deep.
Both components of this wah system are in all original, fully functional, unmodified condition with only some cosmetic signs of wear and tear. They do not come with any cables or power supplies but do come as a set with their original boxes. Excellent Condition.
