Item #3276
National Triolian Model Resophonic Plectrum Guitar (1931), made in Los Angeles, California, brown sunburst enamel finish, steel body, basswood neck.
One of the rarer Nationals we have ever seen...a 1931 Triolian with a long-scale plectrum neck.
Overall length is 38 7/16 in. (97.6 cm.), 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1/4 in. (8.2 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 27 in. (686 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/8 in. (29 mm.).
Appears all original except period Weymann tuners fitted, almost certainly when the instrument was new. Newer nut; original cone and saddle. Average light chipping to edges and pickwear on coverplate. Plays and sounds extremely well. Very Good + Condition.
