Item #4053
National Triolian Model Resophonic Mandolin (1937), made in Chicago, woodgrain enamel finish, steel body; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black soft shell case.
Overall length is 27 in. (68.6 cm.), 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.) width, and 2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 15 in. (381 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.).
An extremely fine player with a recent neck set. Otherwise all original, including cone, biscuit, and the oft-missing engraved plastic pickguard. Minor wear overall; just a great-sounding National mandolin in extremely nice condition. Excellent Condition.
