Item #2346

National Style 0 Model Resophonic Guitar (1933), made in Los Angeles, California, nickel plated finish, brass body, maple neck, black tolex hard shell case.

A typical Style 0 from the early-mid-1930's, recently restored to perfect playing condition.

12-fret neck with slotted head, nickel-plated brass body with sandblasted Hawaiian scenes.

A classic for fingerstyle and slide playing, this is a great "gigging" guitar in fine playing order, but not "too clean to take out."

Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 14 1/16 in. (35.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 3/16 in. (8.1 cm.) deep. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.).

Overall nice with moderate playwear; some scratching to plating on the back and a dented area on the lower bass bout.

All original, except old "ebonized" dyed maple fingerboard has been replaced with ebony using the correct pearl dot inlay and period-style grained ivoroid binding. All other parts original including cone, biscuit, tuners, and tailpiece. National decal (often damaged or missing) in perfect shape on this one.

A nicely restored and great-playing and sounding single-cone resonator guitar. Very Good + Condition.
