Item #13231
Moen Pretty Polly Owned and Used by Tom Verlaine Model Delay Effect, c. 2020, made in China, yellow enamel finish, enamel.
MOEN's Pretty Dolly Hybrid Analog Delay is a simple, straightfoward analog-style (yet digital at its core) delay with up to 500ms of delay. The controls are just three knobs for blend, time, and number of repeats, and the pedal at its core is meant to emulate the warm, lingering "trail" of classic analog delays. This particular example once belonged to Television's Tom Verlaine and lived a seemingly very gentle life in his studio.
Height is 5 1/2 in. (14 cm.), 4 in. (10.2 cm.) width, and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) in depth at deepest point. This pedal is in functional original condition with minimal traces of use by Mr. Verlaine but for the patch of velcro on the back. All the knobs, switches and jacks, and the graphics are in shiny, like-new condition. It can be run off a 9V battery or wall wart power supply. This pedal resides in its original box (tagged with an inventory number as we have seen from several of Tom's other pedals) with some original papers from MOEN inside, and it also comes with a letter of authenticity signed by Patrick Derivaz, Verlaine's close friend and long time musical collaborator from whom we received the pedal. Excellent Condition.
