Matt Rubendall Jazz Model 7 String Model Classical Guitar (2011), made in Brooklyn, NY, natural varnish finish, Indian rosewood back and sides, Douglas fir top, Honduran mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, gig bag case.

Overall length is 40 in. (101.6 cm.), 14 3/8 in. (36.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 15/16 in. (10 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 2 3/8 in. (60 mm.). This fairly recent guitar has seen an active life and has been well played but has no structural damage. There is some fingernail wear to the top in the cutaway area and under the soundhole that has had a bit of finish added over it, and a ding to the top behind the bridge. There is some scuffing to the finish overall, and some clouding to the side finish on the curve of the upper bass bout. This is a very fine playing instrument in an unusual configuration, with an excellent sound acoustically-plus it is equipped with a very good sounding K&K Stereo pickup for amplified use. A very cool and functional modern 7-string from Brooklyn's very well regarded luthier Matt Rubendall, well played in and ready to gig. Excellent - Condition.
