Item #5547

Matt Rubendall Classical Guitar (2012), made in Brooklyn, NY, French polish finish, Indian rosewood back and sides, Port Orford cedar top; Honduras mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, molded fiberglass hard shell case.

This lovely modern classical was handmade right here in Brooklyn; beautifully crafted with quite a powerful singing sound. The guitar has a raised fingerboard and compensated nut and saddle for more precise intonation. The bracing pattern is a Torres-style 7 fan variation. All the binding, decorations and rosette are hand made; the headstock features a distinctive circular cutout decoration. It has a very nicely applied French polish finish, and is a most handsome instrument overall.

Overall length is 38 5/8 in. (98.1 cm.), 14 3/8 in. (36.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 2 1/16 in. (52 mm.). As new from the builder; includes a bright red high-grade molded travel case. A very fine modern concert guitar. New Condition.
