Manuel de la Chica Flamenco Guitar (1955), made in Granada, natural lacquer finish, cypress back and sides, spruce top, Spanish cedar neck with ebony fingerboard, hard shell case.
A beautiful traditional Spanish Flamenco guitar from the well-known maker De La Chica. Signed and hand dated 1955.
Overall length is 38 1/2 in. (97.8 cm.), 14 5/16 in. (36.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 3/4 in. (9.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 3/4 in. (654 mm.). Width of nut is 2 in. (51 mm.).
Very little wear; a spectacularly well preserved example. Slight shrinkage to the tap plates. A beautiful sounding and playing guitar. Excellent Condition.
