Item #7068
Noble Super 970 Custom Model Tube Amplifier, made by Magnatone (1959), made in California, two-tone Tolex finish.
An interesting variant on the Magnatone 213 Troubadour made for Don Noble in Chicago, a firm best remembered for importing the fantastic Wandre/Davoli guitars in the nearly 1960's. This is essentially the same amp as the original Magnatone branded classic, with some cosmetic differences. As the smallest amp with the company's wonderful vibrato circuit, this is a superb and practical combo for many vintage styles.
Height is 16 in. (40.6 cm.), 20 in. (50.8 cm.) width, and 9 1/2 in. (24.1 cm.) deep. Some average wear but overall a nice piece. Just serviced (the replaced parts are included) a great sounding amp with that classic Magnatone vibrato and a nice honk besides. A nicely original amp, no handle but otherwise ready to go. Very Good + Condition.
