Lyon & Healy Washburn style 1830 Model Tango/Melody Banjo, c. 1919, made in Chicago, serial # 9211, cherry stain varnish finish, spunover rim, maple neck with ebonized fingerboard, original black hard shell case.
Overall length is 23 1/4 in. (59.1 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 3 in. (7.6 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/8 in. (29 mm.). Very nice original condition, nothing altered except set up with a modern plastic head. Some finish wear to the back of the neck and headstock; plating is superb. REALLY LOUD with a nice rather bell like tone. A cool and very playable rarity, with a very nice OHSC. Excellent - Condition.
