Leonardo Nunes Soprano Ukulele, made in Los Angeles, California, natural varnish finish, koa wood body and neck.
A rare and beautiful uke, made by the son of Manuel Nunes ("Inventor of the ukulele"). Slim neck, pearl dot inlay, arched back, and original Leonardo Nunes headstock decal.
Overall length is 21 1/8 in. (53.6 cm.), 6 in. (15.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 13 1/8 in. (333 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.).
Nicely original and a very good playing example; period friction pegs with black plastic buttons. Excellent Condition.
