LaBella Retrofret RetroSet 10's Model Polished Stainless Steel Round wound guitar, made in New York, NY. At Retrofret Vintage Guitars we take great pride in curating authentic vintage guitars and their sounds. When it comes to strings, there are many choices today but we searched for something that would create an authentic vintage playing experience while still appealing to the modern era.

These strings are directly derived from the original 1967 no. 780 "Rock & Roll" set. Exactly re-created by LaBella using the original specs and tooling. The wound strings are a polished roundwound design which combines the smoother jazz feel an taut bass reponse of flatwound strings while preserving more of the ringing harmonic character typical of a roundwound. We have been usin them on a wide range of guitar in our showroom and they have delighted our most critical staff and customers.
