Item #4907
Silvertone Thin Twin Model Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar, made by Kay (1955), made in Chicago, sunburst finish, maple top and back, mahogany sides; maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, tan hard shell case.
Overall length is 40 1/2 in. (102.9 cm.), 14 7/8 in. (37.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 3/4 in. (7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 3/4 in. (654 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.). Very nice overall, a particularly nice player (for a Kay!) with a great sound. Tuners have been cleaned, and the buttons and screws replaced; otherwise the guitar is all original. Several obvious scratches in the top finish have been colored in-a functional if not pro-quality job; other finish also original and quite clean. One of the better Thin Twins we have had, with a cool older light HSC. Generally Excellent Condition.
