Orpheum Model 5 String Resonator Banjo, made by Kay, c. 1952, made in Chicago, natural lacquer finish, maple neck, rim and resonator, rosewood fingerboard, original black chipboard case.
Overall length is 38 1/2 in. (97.8 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 3 1/4 in. (8.3 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 27 1/4 in. (692 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). All original and a good player-tuner buttons a bit shrunken but very litle wear. A cool and interesting old 1950's resonator banjo, with the original SSC. Excellent Condition.
