Item #4953

Old Kraftsman "Swingmaster" style Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar, made by Kay, c. 1961, made in Chicago, sunburst lacquer finish, laminated maple body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original cream chipboard case.

Overall length is 41 3/8 in. (105.1 cm.), 15 1/4 in. (38.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Appears all original with not a lot of wear; the pickguard has outgassed enough over time to craze the finish beneath somewhat but is fully intact. A very good playing example of one of Kay's nicer period guitars. Generally Excellent Condition.
