Kay K 72 Model Arch Top Mandolin, c. 1954, made in Chicago, natural lacquer finish, maple body and neck, spruce top, original brown soft shell case.
Overall length is 27 in. (68.6 cm.), 10 in. (25.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.).
Very clean, all original; plays well, a nice example of Kay's better work. Excellent + Condition.
