Kay K-583 Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar, c. 1967, made in Chicago, red/orange lacquer finish, laminated maple body.
Overall length is 42 1/4 in. (107.3 cm.), 15 in. (38.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 5/8 in. (651 mm.).
From the later days of the Kay company, this cherry-red three-pickup K-583 is an American garage band classic. Excellent Condition.
