Item #5565
Jacques Favino Petit Bouche Model Gypsy Jazz Guitar (1977), made in Paris, France, natural finish, rosewood back and sides, spruce top; laminated maple neck with ebony fingerboard, gig bag case.
Overall length is 40 in. (101.6 cm.), 16 1/2 in. (41.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 26 in. (660 mm.). Width of nut is 1 13/16 in. (46 mm.).
Very fine overall, some light play wear (mostly pick scratches to the top) but a nicely preserved example. There is one small repaired grain crack which ranges from the treble edge of the fingerboard to the soundhole inlay. No other repairs or noticeable issues; very fine sound, one of the nicer Selmer-style guitars we have seen and a genuine classic of the genre Excellent Condition.
