Ibanez Joe Pass Signature JP20BS Model Arch Top Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1980), made in Japan, sunburst finish, laminated maple body and neck, ebony fingerboard, original brown tolex hard shell case.
Overall length is 41 in. (104.1 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 3/4 in. (7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/4 in. (641 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.).
This guitar came direct from the original owner's family, bought new in 1980 and not much played since. There is only some very slight play and handling wear, and the finish has ambered noticeably over the years. This is superb example of one of the best Japanese archtops of this or any era, built to Jo Pass' rather exacting standards. It includes the original hard case with the truss rod tool and part of the original hangtag. Excellent + Condition.
