Item #4011
Hilo Model Soprano Ukulele, c. 1950's, made in Hawaii, natural finish.
A surprisingly nice "Tourist Grade" uke from the postwar Hawaiian paradise. While not built to the standards of the great native ukuleles of the 1910's and 1920's, this is still a pleasant little solid-wood instrument.
Overall length is 21 in. (53.3 cm.), 6 1/2 in. (16.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 12 7/8 in. (327 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/8 in. (35 mm.).
Appears all original with little wear, and plays and sounds fine. Excellent + Condition.
