Item #4107
Unlabeled Model Arch Top Acoustic Guitar, most likely made by Harmony, c. 1933, made in Chicago, sunburst lacquer finish, laminated birch body, poplar neck, black tolex hard shell case.
A plain but funky-sounding Depression-era roundhole archtop. Painted-on binding, black Bakelite pickguard, and rosewood bridge with composite saddle. Slotted headstock and chunky rounded "V" neck profile. A good-playing and inexpensive pre-WWII guitar.
Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 13 7/8 in. (35.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 3/4 in. (9.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 13/16 in. (46 mm.).
Clean and original with some chips to painted binding. Some light play wear, but overall very nice for its vintage. Excellent Condition.
