Silvertone Model 1454 Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar, made by Harmony (1965), made in Chicago, serial # 6813H1454, red sunburst lacquer finish, laminated maple body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard.
This relatively flashy guitar was the top-of-the-line model in Sears' electric line for the 1960's. With three DeArmond pickups, multiple binding and a Bigsby tailpiece this is a fairly deluxe instrument, and a great-sounding one as well. One of Harmony's best guitars, a classic in both sound and style.
Overall length is 40 3/4 in. (103.5 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 15/16 in. (4.9 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. A very good example overall; complete and original except the pickguard is missing. The trussrod has been seamlessly replaced making this an exceptional player for this model, with a much more functional neck! There is light average wear overall, one large-ish scrape on the back edge above the Bigsby but no other major, damage changes or repairs. A cool player's example of one of Harmony's coolest offerings! Overall Excellent - Condition.
