Item #7300
Resonator Model Banjo Ukulele, made by Harmony, c. 1928, made in Chicago, brown varnish finish, laminater maple and mahogany rim, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard.
Overall length is 21 1/2 in. (54.6 cm.), 7 1/2 in. (19 cm.) diameter head, and 3 in. (7.6 cm.) deep. Scale length is 13 in. (330 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). A nice and original example of a fairly high-grade resonator banjo-uke from the 1920's. New bridge, all other hardware is original. Some light wear overall and dirt on the head, and there appears to be a clean repair to the heel. This is quite loud when needed, a very well-made, excellent sounding and playing banjo-uke with fancy cosmetics including a bound fingerboard and marquetry inlay to the rip and resonator back. Overall Excellent - Condition.
