Item #6153
Harmony H-8010 Model Arch Top Mandolin, c. 1972, made in Chicago, serial # 4480H8010, sunburst lacquer finish, birch back and sides, spruce top.
Overall length is 25 in. (63.5 cm.), 10 1/4 in. (26 cm.) width, and 1 13/16 in. (4.6 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). This Harmony mandolin came out of a closed music store-it is new old stock, never sold-it is close to mint with just some tiny shopwear marks. We cleaned and re-strung it, and now it's ready for it's first real owner! All solid wood construction, plays and sounds quite well, this is still an excellent choice in a budget mandolin-now 40+ years old-still includes the original hang tag! Excellent + Condition.
