Item #3327

Guild T-100D Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1965), made in Hoboken, NJ, sunburst lacquer finish, laminated maple body, mahogamy neck with rosewood fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case.

The T-100-D was one of Guild's 1960's standbys, with most of the features of the very popular Starfire series at a slightly lower price. The thin 16" single-cutaway body is sunburst-finished maple with bound top and unbound back. The pickups are Guild's thin white plastic covered single-coil units, nicknamed the "Mickey Mouse" pickup.

The tailpiece is the standard Guild harp-shaped fitting paired with a rosewood bridge. The bound mahogany neck has a dot-inlaid rosewood fingerboard and the headstock has the standard mid-60's Guild plastic overlay with "chesterfield" column inlay. This guitar has a brighter, snappier sound than the DeArmond or Humbucker equipped Starfires and is quite a versatile instrument.

Overall length is 41 1/2 in. (105.4 cm.), 16 1/4 in. (41.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/8 in. (35 mm.).

All original with no repairs or alterations. Light average finish wear, dings and chips, mostly on back edges, otherwise very well-preserved. Plays and sounds very well. Excellent Condition.
