Item #2584
Guild Starfire III Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1965), made in Hoboken, NJ, cherry lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, black tolex original hard shell case.
Completely original 1965 single cutaway Starfire III with stock Guild Bigsby tailpiece and bridge. Fully hollow thinline body with cherry finish; bound top and back. Chrome Guild Humbucking pickups, Grover Sta-tite tuners.
A great, often overlooked 60's rock&roll guitar from the 'Beat Boom' era, and one of the few remaining competitively affordable original classic American guitars. We currently have two of these in stock (see our #3223).
Overall length is 41 1/2 in. (105.4 cm.), 16 5/16 in. (41.4 cm.) width, and 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.).
Nicely original; some average wear, but a good-playing example. Excellent Condition.
