Item #3683
Guild F-212 Model 12 String Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1965), made in Hoboken, NJ, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back, sides and neck; spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, original black alligator hard shell case.
We consider the Guild F-212 to be easily one of the best postwar 12-strings ever made, and this is a great early example. In common with the earliest Guild 12-strings, this one features a flat-radius fingerboard with no position markers. Truly majestic sound and in very fine playing condition.
Overall length is 42 7/8 in. (108.9 cm.), 15 7/8 in. (40.3 cm.) wide, and 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 2 in. (51 mm.).
One long repaired back crack; some dings and general playing wear overall. One small patched ding to the top. Tuners restored to original. Very good action and sound. Generally Excellent Condition.
