Item #4678
Guild Aristocrat M-75 Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1954), made in Hoboken, NJ, sunburst top, dark back and sides finish, mahogany body, spruce top; laminated mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original brown hard shell case.
Overall length is 39 5/8 in. (100.6 cm.), 13 1/2 in. (34.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This guitar has seen a lot of use but a really great player; the binding is shrunken somewhat around top, with a small patched area on the upper bout. Extensive pickwear to upper areas of the top, general wear overall. All hardware appears original except bridge saddle and adjustment wheels (the hard-to-find circular feet are still intact). A cool player's example of one of Guild's most distinctive designs. Overall Very Good + Condition.
