Gretsch PX-6118 Double Anniversary Model Arch Top Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1959), made in Brooklyn, NY, two tone green lacquer finish, laminated maple body, maple neck with ebony fingerboard, original grey hard shell case.
Overall length is 42 in. (106.7 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 11/16 in. (6.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 1/2 in. (622 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). A very nice example; there is some noticeable scratching to the back finish on the lower bout, and a spot of wear on the back of the neck behind the 10th fret, otherwise finish is very well preserved overall. All original finish and hardware, typical repaired crack to pickguard through upper mounting screw (clean job). There is one small spot of binding deterioration near the neck; otherwise binding is in good shape. This guitar has an excellent original neck angle; this is a very fine player for this model. Includes the original 2-tone case. Excellent Condition.
