Gretsch Model PX-6186 Clipper Model Arch Top Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1960), made in Brooklyn, NY, serial # 34624, sunburst top, dark stained back and sides finish, laminated maple body and neck, rosewood fingerboard.
 
Overall length is 42 in. (106.7 cm.), 15 3/4 in. (40 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). Clean overall, finish still shiny with only some minor dings and edge scrapes. Some typical binding cracks along the sides; some areas show noticeable shrinkage are not crumbling seriously. Added strap button on upper bout, tuners changed to mid-'60's Kluson Deluxe-other hardware appears original. An amazingly good playing and sounding Gretsch, the plainest guitar the company offered this year but a super friendly instrument. Generally Excellent Condition.
