Item #7412

Goya Rangemaster Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1966), made in Italy, sunburst polyester finish, hardwood body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original molded blue plastic hard shell case.

Overall length is 41 1/2 in. (105.4 cm.), 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). As nice a Goya Rangemaster as we have ever had, completely original and looking very little played. There are a few small scuffs and scratches and the mirror-plastic inset has fallen out of the center of one of the selector buttons but overall a this is a superb example of this slightly off-the-wall Italian "Veg-O-Matic" plastic-buttoned fretted creation. These were not intended as a low-budget guitar and compared to many period Italian-made guitars are solidly made and a better playing instruments than many would expect. The Rangemaster is a versatile solidbody with four individual half-pickups arranged in pairs, producing some interesting sounds! Includes the wacky but functional original molded plastic case, with a crack in the top but still fully useable. Excellent + Condition.
