Goya Panther II Model 118JB Model Solid Body Electric Bass Guitar (1966), made in Italy, black lacquer finish, basswood body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard.
Overall length is 46 in. (116.8 cm.), 12 1/2 in. (31.8 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 30 1/2 in. (775 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/2 in. (38 mm.). A little worn overall, some chips and dents to the finish but nothing too bad. All original except the one big volume knob is more recent, and the handrest and bridge cover are missing; everything else is intact. A very nice player with a surprisingly good range of sounds-one of the very best of the "Italian specials" of the '60's. Adorned with a fabulous period sticker on the back that might invoke bad Karma to remove! Very Good + Condition.
