Gitane DG-250 Model Gypsy Jazz Guitar, made in China, natural finish, rosewood back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, black gig bag case.
Overall length is 40 in. (101.6 cm.), 15 5/8 in. (39.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 in. (10.2 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 26 1/2 in. (673 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/4 in. (44 mm.).
A very nice modern variation of the classic Selmer Manouche guitar, played but not abused. There is a bit of strum wear to the top finish, a small grain crack off the treble side of the fingerboard, and another longer repaired spruce grain crack by the tailpiece. Very well set up, an extremely good playing guitar, and quite good sounding; an excellent instrument for the price. Excellent - Condition.
