Gibson TG-50 Model Arch Top Acoustic Tenor Guitar, c. 1947, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst top, dark stained back and sides finish, maple back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, black soft shell case.
Overall length is 40 in. (101.6 cm.), 16 1/4 in. (41.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 23 in. (584 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/8 in. (29 mm.). Appears original except recent re-issue Kluson tuners and a "D'Angelico strap button" (i.e. an eyehook) added to the upper neck heel. Some wear to the top but overall not to heavy, a very good player. Overall Very Good + Condition.
