Gibson Style A Model Carved Top Mandolin (1918), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, natural top, cherry stained back and sides finish, spruce top, birch back and sides, black tolex soft shell case.
Overall length is 26 in. (66 cm.), 10 1/8 in. (25.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) in depth at side. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.).
Overall nice condition, all original except pickguard missing. Some playing wear to top and more significant wear to back of neck, with filled strap button hole on heel. Plays and sounds very nice. Very Good + Condition.
