Gibson Style 1 Model Soprano Ukulele, c. 1928, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, natural lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard.

A typical 1920's Gibson Style 1, these were the company's plainest ukulele with all mahogany construction and simple ornamentation. This features a silver paint stencil "The Gibson" logo, single rope pattern soundhole ring, ebony nut and saddle, and extended 17-fret fingerboard.
 
Overall length is 20 3/4 in. (52.7 cm.), 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 13 3/4 in. (349 mm.). Width of nut is 1 7/16 in. (36 mm.). Very Good + Condition.
