Item #4111
Gibson Skylark GA-5 Model Tube Amplifier (1964), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, textured tolex finish.
This little beast is Gibson's equivalent to a Fender Champ, putting out 4-5 watts of pure tube snarl. Paired by 1958 with the Korina Skylark steel guitar as a student level set, the GA-5 had previously been designated the "Les Paul Jr. TV" amp. This is the mid-60's version, with grained grey/brown covering and a silver faceplate. All visible components date to mid-late 1964, making this one a great match to a 60's SG, Firebird, or Melody Maker. This is a neat and very clean example, just serviced, and is in extremely fine original condition, making for an excellent collector's chioce or studio recording/low-volume gigging amp.
Height is 14 3/4 in. (37.5 cm.), 20 in. (50.8 cm.) width, and 7 in. (17.8 cm.) deep.
Very clean; just serviced. A little screamer ready to go! Excellent Condition.
