Gibson SJ Southern Jumbo Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, c. 1946, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst top, dark back and sides finish, mahogany back, sides and neck; spruce top, rosewood fingerboard, soft shell case.

Overall length is 40 3/4 in. (103.5 cm.), 16 1/8 in. (41 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 13/16 in. (46 mm.). Well played but very nice original guitar; a lot of strumwear to the top and finish well-worn on the back of the neck but no damage or repairs. Original bridge and bridgeplate (even bridgepins!), WW II style Kluson tuners. A recent neck set makes this a very fine player, with a big smooth sound. Very Good + Condition.
